The five years that Tim Clifford has been Director of Sales for Action Sports have flown by. But that’s just fine with him; he loves anything that goes fast and, now that we mention it, anything that flies, too.

Tim’s the only one of us that is a licensed helicopter pilot. He always had a fascination with flying so he went ahead and got his pilot’s license about 8 years ago and loved every minute of it. He doesn’t fly much now because he’s picked up an interest in speedy things on the ground. You can find him at most Perewitz Bike Nights in the summer where he’ll be eyeing the “bike candy” and trying to decide what his first motorcycle will be.

He really comes alive when he talks about his ultra fast trip around the Nuerburgring in Germany this past year in the Ring Taxi (BMW M5). One of his goals is to drive “The Ring” in an M3, similar to the one he owns.

When Tim’s not zipping around in his car or at work, he can be found watching any of the New England sports teams. Sometimes he’s watching them at home (and hoping they make the spread) and sometimes he watches them at the bar his wife manages. Yeah, she’s cool, too. Just don’t tell her that Tim’s been eyeing both a bicycle and a motorcycle for the riding season.
